The Saudi Cifal Center was established as a result of a partnership between the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and Majmaah University (MU) to develop capabilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Cifal is one CIFAL Global Network under the UNITAR and composed of International Training Centres for Authorities and Leader across Asia, Oceania, Africa, Europe and the Americas. It aims to offer innovative training and serves as a hub for the exchange of knowledge amongst government officials, the private sector, and civil society.
It also provides a platform for dialogue and knowledge transfer on key development-related issues as well achieving UN goals for sustainable development 2030.
