A series of training courses designed to develop the skills of teaching staff were conducted by the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development.
27 training courses targeting more than 900 faculty staff were conducted in two languages; Arabic and English. These courses addressed several topics such as creating question banks, evaluation methods, Use of D2L to create question banks, role of social media in supporting educational process, curriculum description, role of teaching staff in community service and strategic planning.
Dr. Saeed Bajahzar, supervisor of these courses, said that these courses were conducted by qualified staff from the university, who received training on how to run such courses, a measure taken by the Deanship of Quality to reach the quality of being self-sufficient.
