REHAB AND PROSTHETICS TEAM VISITS NETHERLANDS

As a concrete step taken by Majmaah University (MU) to ensure that the Rehab and Prosthetics Center (RPC) has state-of-the-art facilities, a team of MU paid a visit to Muteek Company – one of the leading companies in Netherlands in the area of prosthetics.
Dr. Fahad Al-Dufairi, Dean of Applied Medical Sciences and deputy-chairman of RPC and Dr. Mazen Al-Ghatani, head of physiotherapy department, have represented the university in this visit.
The visit has mainly focused on learning from the experience of the company in the field of rehab and prosthetics. A number of hospitals, sports centers and universities were also visited to discuss the potential of cooperation in research and training.
Dr. Al-Dufairi said that the visit, which was fully supported by MU rector, seeks to meet the needs of society and the requirements of sustainable development in Saudi Arabia by constantly enhancing the quality of health services within the university area.
