VICE-RECTOR’S OFFICE FOR EDUCATIONAL AFFAIRS HOLDS A WORKSHOP ON ‘EXAMINATION OF PLANS AND STUDY PROGRAMS AND WAYS OF DEVELOPING THEM’

A workshop was organized by the Vice-Rector’s Office for Educational Affairs on the theme ‘ Examination of Plans and Study Programs & Ways of Developing them’. The basic aim of the workshop is to improve the performance of all Plans and Study Programs Units in all colleges.
Participants’ discussion in the workshop – moderated by Dr. Essam Al-Malki, supervisor of vice-rector’s office – revolves around three main topics: Consultation, exchange opinions about study programs and examine the status of current plans and study programs in all colleges as well as seeking the role that could be played by evidences in improving these plans and programs.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, Vice-Rector, reported the desire of MU rector to improve the work of these units on constant basis in line with the university’s goals and simultaneously contribute in meeting the demand of the market with highly qualified graduates.
For the development of the study plans’ design to take place in terms of content and structure, it should be handled based on unified concepts and according to the quantity of workload.
It is important to adhere to the relevant academic accreditation’s standards and their updates locally and internationally.
