His Highness the University Rector Dr. KHaled Sa'ad Almuqrin inaugurates the University medicinal and educational dentistry clinics and center in Faculty of Dentistry in Alzulfi in the presence of the university vice presidents, a number of faculties Deans and government bodies directors. At his arrival, Dr. Almuqrin removed the curtain of the commemorative plaque of the center and cut the ribbon announcing the inauguration of the medical center. Then, Dr. Almuqrin made a tour inside the center clinics listening to an explanation on their equipments and properties from the Dean of Faculty of Dentistry Dr. Abdulrahman Alatram.
On this occasion, a celebration was held; it started with some verses from the Noble Qura'an. This was followed by the speech of Faculty of Dentistry Dean who presented a very detailed explanation on dentistry clinics and the center that contains 43 completely equipped clinics and some other clinics for x-rays and advanced high quality medical laboratories. The Dean considers the center as a nucleus for a future university dentistry hospital. After that, everybody watched a video on Faculty of Dentistry in Alzulfi throughout the past three years. Then, the University Rector delivered a speech in which he commended the efforts of people working in the committees that supervise the center and the faculty supervisors and affiliated units for their great co-operation that resulted in one of the great university accomplishments. He said that he is so proud of this accomplishment and this has happened within a very short period of the university age. All praise be to Allah for this bounty and many thanks be to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Government, his Crown Prince and his Highness the Second Deputy for their great support. Also, it is worth mentioning that Minister of Higher Education Dr. KHaled Alanqari has had a great impact on this accomplishment along with dedicated men who faced many difficulties in the early stages for the university and its colleges to be at a very distinguished position compared to other Saudi universities. Dr. Almuqrin has urged Faculty of Dentistry to open its doors to the local community and provide necessary treatment services in order to contribute to building the society within its advanced potentials. At the end of the celebration, the supporting and contributory bodies (that contributed to establishing the medical center) were conferred honor upon as well as the contributors of university staff, the Faculty and individuals. Dean of Faculty of Dentistry presented a memorial souvenir to the University Rector on this occasion.
