Faculty of Medicine, represented by the Faculty vice Deanship for Higher Studies and Scientific Research, participated with a delegation consists of the Faculty vice Dean for Higher Studies and Scientific Research (the coordinator of integrative and alternative medicine curriculum) Dr. Mohammad Al Mansour, the student Ahmad Mohammad Alaidan, the student Nawwaf Rashed Almurri and the student Turki Aljouhani. The participating delegation attended the meeting between the executive manager of integrative and traditional medicine department in World Health Organization in co-operation with the National Center for Integrative and Alternative Medicine in Riyadh. There was an explanation by the Faculty vice Dean (the coordinator of the curriculum) on the idea of the curriculum, how to develop it and evaluate it by the students and teaching staff. Afterwards, three students expressed their point of view on the curriculum and their suggestions to develop it. Then, a discussion was opened with Dr. Zang, the executive manager of integrative and Alternative Medicine Department in World Health Organization, who expressed his happiness ad impression with the experiment and he asked for it to be generalized to cover the clinical years.
