Extending the role it plays in cooperation with the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education in the context of community service, the College of Education of Zulfi welomes the fourth group of educational diploma students. It includes the General Educational Diploma, the Diploma of Guidance and Educational Counseling, and the Diploma of Measurement and Evaluation. The students were welcomed by his Excellency the dean of the college and the general supervisor of the diplomas Dr. Abdullah Alsuwaiket, his Excellency the supervisor of the General Educational Diploma Dr. Abdullah Alharbi, the supervisor of the Diploma of Measurement and Evaluation Dr. Musfir Al Refaa and the supervisor of the Diploma of Guidance and Counceling Pr. Naser Alothman.
The meeting started by a speech of his Excellency the dean of the college. He thanked God for the blessing of security and stability in light of this wise government which supported higher education and accorded greatest attention to it. It was led by the commander of the country the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, his Highness the Crown Prince and his Highness the Second Deputy. The dean also mentioned the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education under the continuous follow-up and support of his Excellency the director of the college Dr. Khalid bin Saad Almuqrin who consistently received support from the university for every college achievement. Then, the dean welcomed the attendees who represent the fourth group with two hundred and fifty male and female students. Three years ago, they were the first group welcomed by the college with twenty five male and female students. After that, he praised the efforts, the follow-up and supports that the college gains from the Deanship of Community Service and Continuous Education led by its active dean Dr. Omar Alcharioufi and its chancellor his Excellency Dr. Adel Almaghdhui.
The dean concluded by reminding the students of the greatness of the mission they hold in the fields of education and raising generations as they are the core of the nation and the chief constituent for its development.
The speech of the dean was followed by some words of the executive supervisors. Everyone welcomed his/her students and displayed a brief definition of the nature of the diploma he/supervises as well as the subjects which will be taught during this year.
There was a scope for presentations and inquiries. The most prominent intervention was from one of the students who asked the dean of the college to carry a letter to his Excellency the rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Almuqrin. He conveyed a special thank of many of his colleagues and graduates for the rector support and approval to extend the diplomas. This has a great impact on the performance of faculty members and advisors in their colleges.
The meeting ended by thanking the audience for their interaction and presence and the students were invited to a banquet prepared for this occasion.
