DEANSHIP OF E-LEARNING AND DISTANCE EDUCATION PARTICIPATES IN THE FIRST MEETING OF DEANS FOR E-LEARNING IN SAUDI UNIVERSITIES

Majmaah University has participated in the first meeting of deans for e-learning and distance education in Saudi universities based on an invitation sent by the Director of the Committee. The meeting was held at Imam Mohammad Bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh. The university was represented by His Excellency the Deputy Dean of Deanship of E-learning and Distance Education Dr. Khalid N. Al-Mudairabi.

The meeting was begun by a speech for the Vice-Recto of Imam Mohammad Bin Saud Islamic University for Community Service and Information Technology Dr. Fawzan A. Al-Fawzan by welcoming all audience.

The basic purpose of this committee is unify all the joint efforts as well as exchanging experience between universities and institutions.  It also intends to facilitate the cooperation between universities with regard to academic programs and training as well as exchanging the successful practices at all levels of e-learning.

Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari and Dr. Al-Mudaibri extended his thanks to the Rector for his concern and support of the university in all field particularly e-learning as well as sharing the successful experience of the university with the rest of Saudi university in the field of e-learning.
