MU RECTOR CHAIRS COLLEGE OF EDUCATION’S CONSULTATIVE BOARD IN ZULFI

Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, MU Rector, chaired the consultative board held at the College of Education in Zulfi on 10/5/1440.
After the agenda being circulated to the board members by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Rushoud, Secretary of the board, the Dean of King Salman Center, Dr. Hamad Al-Omran, briefed the members with the printing press of the university and the wide-range of services it provides including express digital printing, offset printing, banners printing, etc.
Dr. Thamer Al-Harbi, Dean of Scientific Research, introduced the members to the content management system which basically manages the scientific production of the university such as scientific research, graduation projects, dissertations, books and innovations.
The Dean of Quality and Skills Development, Dr. Mohammed Al-Aboudi, provided an overview of internal audit process for the year 1440 AH in line with NCAAA and the departments that have been inspected. The quality assurance process becomes a necessity without which the university will not be able to compete locally or international.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Wanaien, Dean of IT, gave a presentation on all E-Systems developed by the IT team last year such as clearance e-form and authorization e-form.
The major achievements of the College of Education in Majmaah was presented by Dr. Majed Aba-Hussain, Dean of the College of Education. These achievements includes all the community service programs held during summer and first semester. Dr. Aba-Hussain has also highlighted the executive plan of the community service unit which targets public, private and non-profit sectors in Majmaah and other areas.
The Director of General Directorate of Facilities and Housing, Mr. Baddah Al-Baddah, briefed the members about the transformation of the directorate’s services to be electronic including the housing system, security patrol reports, electricity issuance system, the university property inventory and electricity rationalization campaign.
A statistic was presented showing the number of faculty members and students and the number of researches that have been published during 2017 and 2018 which reached 181.
MU Rector extended his thanks at the end of the meeting to the board members for their efforts including the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs for its role in working on the final account and budget of the university for this year.
