SHEIKH SAAD AL SHATHRI HOSTED BY MU

Majmaah University has invited Dr. Saad Al-Shathri, a member of the High Council of Senior Islamic Scholars and Adviser at Royal Court, to deliver a lecture on the role of university student in enhancing the sense of patriotism.
Welcomed by MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren and all vice-rectors and deans, Dr. Al-Shathri was escorted to the auditorium to deliver the lecture to students.
The lecture focused on encouraging students to realize their role in enhancing the sense of patriotism. A comparison was drawn between the past and future of the country which is attributed to the great sacrifice made by the founder of this nation and his followers.
Dr. Al-Shathri has also advised students not to avoid deviant ideas which can be attained by seeking knowledge from authentic sources.
A tour of inspection was also made to some of the university’s facilities and initiatives such as schools, Prosthetic Limbs Center, e-learning mobile bus, e-learning mobile bus for people with special needs ‘Wusul’ and blood donation bus.
Dr. Al-Shathri extended his thanks to MU Rector for the wonderful hospitality and demonstrated his gratitude with the achievements of MU albeit it is a new university.
