Based on the endorsement of His Excellency the Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren and under the patronage of His Excellency the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Prof. Mohammad Al-Rukban, the Deanship of Student Affairs launched the headquarter of the Student Guidance and Counseling Center.
Dr. Hamad Al-Gumeizy, Dean of Student Affairs delivered a welcoming speech in which he mentioned that the idea was the center of the Rector attraction over the last year and he ultimately directed the launch with the follow-up of Prof. Al-Rukban in all fields.
A presentation was shown about the idea, purpose and units and programs of the center.
Prof. Al-Rukban gave a speech where praised the center the dire need of it for students in their future. He also extended his thanks to the deanship for adopting this project and programs which serve students.
Some consultants of the center who are invited to provide guidance service to students directly or via phone gave a speech about the role of the center in providing advice to students in cooperation with faculty members and specialists.
Dr. Al-Gumeizy extended his thanks to the Rector for his approval of launching the center as well as his constant support to the deanship.
