His Excellency the Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Rukban launched this morning the exhibition held on the occasion of the ceremony of the 5th scientific conference. The exhibition included several sections including the innovation section which has several medical inventions which are of value to academic field and society.
Dr. Hamad Al-Gumeizy, Dean of Student Affairs gave a speech where he mentioned that the participation at the conference is likely to achieve several goals, most importantly, stimulating the talented students, developing the concept of research and innovation among students and supporting the artistic and media work. Dr. Al-Gumeizy also stated that the constant achievements and follow-up of the coordinating committees have contributed immensely in increasing the number of participants to more than 50% comparing to the last year.
A documentary film was shown followed by a speech for students where they state that the achievements of the University develop in students the encouragement to work hard and to make more progress.
Addressing the audience, the Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren delivered a speech where he extended his thanks to the Custodian of the Tow Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince for their unlimited support. He also thanked the Minister of Higher Education Prof. Khalid Al-Angari for his follow-up of the University achievements. He stated the all the achievements of the university is attributed to the strong will, commitment and perseverance of the University staff. He eventually encouraged everyone to keep on the same pace and to double the efforts to make more progress to achieve the University strategic objectives.
