His Excellency the Rector Dr. Khaled Bin Saad Al Moqren inaugurated the female students’ section building at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, after the completion of its restoration, rehabilitation and development. He was received upon his arrival

His Excellency the Rector Dr. Khaled Bin Saad Al Moqren and His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs, Chairman of Social Charity Fund, Dr. Yousef Bin Ahmed Al Uthaimeen on Sunday signed a cooperation agreement between the University and the Social Charity Fund to support the educational programs provided by the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education for the categories covered by the Fund's services through providing 100 free educational grant costing two million riyals to Majmaah University. The agreement was signed in the headquarters of the University at Majmaah.
 
The meeting started by a presentation about the objectives and scopes of the agreement by the Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education, Dr. Omer Bin Msaed Al Shariofi. and reviewed the objectives of the agreement, and methods of activating joint cooperation between the University and Social Charity Fund based on common goals, and matching of both of them message in their respective service the community.

Then, His Excellency Rector of Majmaah University, Dr. Khaled Bin Saad Al Moqren gave a speech thanking in it His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs on what the university found from the cooperation and interaction in order to sign this agreement and follow-up of all that would provide advanced education for categories served by the Fund. He considered this agreement a continuation for the University's approach in building cooperation bridges with all ministries, governmental and private sectors in order to provide advanced services to the community compatible with the goals and aspirations of the university. He clarified the impact of such agreements to strengthen cooperation and partnership aiming to serve the community, also gave thanks to all workers in the Social Charity Fund.

After that, His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Chairman of the Social Charity Fund gave a speech reviewing the programs and activities provided by the Social Charity Fund in the field of scholarships to the beneficiaries of the Fund's services. His Excellency also praised the role of Majmaah University in serving the community and its efforts to activate cooperation between the university and the concerned ministries that gave it a leading role among Saudi universities. Dr. Uthaymeen also mentioned that the Social Charity Fund has set bases for continuous cooperation with Saudi universities for their wealth of expertise and scientific efficiency. He announced that the Charity Fund will sign another number of agreements with other universities and that the Fund will cover the full financial costs for the education of sons and daughters of the beneficiary families.

At the end of the meeting, the Rector of the University, Dr. Khalid Bin Saad Al Moqren honored His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Chairman of the Charity Fund Dr. Yousef Bin Ahmed Al Uthaimeen, Director General of Social Charity Fund Mr. Adel Farahat and the Programs Deputy Director General Mr. Ahmed Al-Ghamdi.

On this occasion, the Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education Dr. Omer Bin Msaed Al Shariofi raised his thanks to the Rector for his patronage of the programs and activities of the Deanship. He also thanked the deans of colleges that implement the educational programs, and all those who contributed to the success of the activities led to signing of this agreement headed by His Excellency the Vice Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education Dr. Hamad Bin Abdullah Al Qumaizi , who followed up the steps until signing this agreement and became a reality on the ground. He also thanked the executive supervisors of the educational programs, and the teaching staff members on their interest in the achievement of the quality standards and academic accreditation, which the Deanship seeks to achieve of its educational programs.
