Upon directions from the Majmaah University Rector H.E.Dr. Khaled bin Saad Al Miqren and follow-up of H.E. Vice Rector Dr. Ibrahim Bin Abdul Rahman Al Hugail, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Majmaah University began the preparation to participate in the Third Scientific Conference for students in higher education to be hosted by the city of Khobar in the month of Jumad Al Awal of this year, according to a Dean of Student Affairs at the University, Dr. Faisal Bin Abdullah Al Homoud.
He said it was announced to the students through the university portal and “my activities” mobile about the conference and urged them to participate after posting related terms, conditions and mechanism. The Deanship will organize a preparatory conference during the month of March of this year where the winning participations will be nominated to represent the university in the conference.
He added that this conference is one of the most important activities organized by the Ministry of Higher Education for university students, which is concentrated in three axes: humanities, social sciences, basic sciences, engineering and health sciences. As there are activities associated with it which are the innovations, documentary films, art competitions and projects of entrepreneurship. At the conclusion of his statement, Dr. Al Homoud provided his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Rector for his interest and guidance hoping that the university participation this year would be effective, unique and at the level of aspirations. He also gave thanks to His Excellency the Vice Rector on his commitment and ongoing follow-up for the Deanship activities.
