Under the guidance and follow-up of the Rector, Dr. Khaled Bin Saad Al Muqrin, the university participates in the Twenty Seventh National Festival for Heritage and Culture "Janadriyah" for the second year in a row through the university Medical Services Department, and through the modern mobile clinics which have been equipped under the supervision and follow-up of the Vice Rector & Supervisor of the University Medical Services Dr. Ibrahim Bin Abdul Rahman Al Hugail. Dr. Ibrahim explained that the mobile medical services will receive visitors and emergency cases for visitors of Janadriyah Festival and provides them with the necessary medical procedures and tests, therapeutic and educational services. He added that these medical services come as an integral part of the medical services system at Majmaah University which include two vehicles for medical clinics, the medical clinic at the university headquarters and three ambulance vehicles equipped with modern medical and emergency equipment. Dr. Al Hugail also added that the mobile medical services contain advanced equipment such as a clinic that contains an ultrasound radiology apparatus for diagnosing obstetrics and gynecology diseases as well as internal medicine clinic is equipped with X-rays to diagnose bone and chest diseases, an equipped clinic for diseases of children and a clinic is equipped for General Medicine, two Dental integrated clinics with different equipment , medical laboratories for men & women, a pharmacy for men with another one for women, nursing & dressing rooms for men & women, waiting rooms for women and toilets. The clinics are also fully equipped with power, air conditioning and central medical gases network and all the equipment necessary to work as an integrated health mobile center. Dr. Al Hugail assured that the university is seeking through mobile medical services to achieve several goals, including participation in various awareness & health education programs and events of the community, including the National Festival for Heritage and Culture "Janadriya.". Another objective of this participation is to facilitate medical surveys to contribute to the preparation of health research for various health colleges such as University College of Medicine, Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Dental Medicine College and others. And also participate in the provisioning of medical services, diagnostic and therapeutic in coordination with various governmental agencies such as the Ministry of Health and the Red Crescent, the establishment of blood donation campaigns and global detection to serve all community members in general and the groups most susceptible to certain diseases such as children, elderly people and laborers. The university is also participating in training the university health colleges’ male & female students on various skills field training. A campaign was organized before aiming to serve a number of villages, hamlets and land camps surrounding Majmaah. The clinics also participated in the events of Hajj, King Abdulaziz Prize for 'Camel Mezayeen' at Um Ruqaiba area and in a number of occasions.
