Rector patronizes the launch of Faculty of Medicine Curriculum & announces the establishment of a separate building for the faculty with cost of 150 million Saudi Riyals

His Excellency Rector of Majmaah University, Dr. Khaled Bin Saad Al Muqrin, launched the university Faculty of Medicine Curriculum, which was prepared by a group of international and local experts. This was during a ceremony organized on this occasion in the presence of the university Vice Rectors, Deans of Colleges, Directors of hospitals in the north of Riyadh Province and a number of faculty teacing staff members, management staff and students. The ceremony which was presented by Mr. Waleed Al Mjalli and Mr. Ahmed Al Asailan started by verses from the Holy Quran recited by the student Shoaib Al Bader followed by a speech for His Excellency the Vice Rector Dr. Ibrahim Bin Abdul Rahman Al Hugail in which he spoke about the efforts that have been made to prepare the Faculty of Medicine curriculum and the pride and the pride of the university, including what he personally received from some experts in medical education praising the quality of the curriculum. He also sent a number of messages that contained thanks and appreciation to those who contributed in the preparation of such curriculum. Dr. Al Hugail also spoke to medical students and asked them to diligent and exert efforts for success and benefit from the potentials available at the university. After that, the University Rector launched the curriculum as this wa accompanied by a documentary presentation about the Faculty of Medicine, its activities and its various programs. Then, the Rector gave a speech in which he praised the clear great effort provided by the Faculty of Medicine despite of its young age and the exploitation of the provided capabilities and equipment in addition to what is provided by the Dean and his work staff which are highly valued and appreciated by everyone. He also praised what the University receives of substantial support by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques which has yielded a number of achievements and successes that the university is proud of. This support included the allocated amount of SR150 million from the budget for the construction of an independent building for the Faculty of Medicine. His Excellency stressed the need to work within the faculty in a spirit of one team work to achieve the vision and aspirations of the senior leadership. Following this was the distribution of gifts and commemorative shields to the members of the committee preparing the curriculum and then the outstanding students and winners of the Environment Context were honored. The student Faisal Al Hamidi Al Rwais was also honored for his efforts in designing the Faculty of Medicine Students’ Forum. At the end, His Excellency the Rector left the ceremony location in the same warm reception.
