His Excellency Rector of the University Issues a decree of forming a supreme committee to follow-up the progress of ‘Scientific Seats’

His Excellency Rector of the University, Dr. Khalid Bin Sa’ad al-Muqrin Issued a decree of forming a supreme committee to follow-up the progress of ‘Scientific Seats’ which includes of his Excellency Rector of the University, Dr. Khalid Bin Sa’ad al-Muqrin as a chairman, Vice Rector for graduate studies and scientific research  Dr. Mohsen Bin Abdelrahman al-Mohsen as a vice chairman, Dr. Mohammad Bin Othman al-Rakban, Dr. Nassir Bin Ali al-Jarallah and Dr. Sa’ad Bin Mohammad al-Rushood as members of the committee and Dr. Khalid Bin Abdullah al-Shafy as a member and secretary. The role of this committee is to follow up the performance of scientific seats, evaluating its progress on regular basis, overcoming any obstacles it might be encountered, providing developmental visions and adopting its policy and general framework. His Excellency vice Rector for graduate studies and scientific research Dr. Mohsen Bin Abdelrahman al-Mohsen, during the ninth university council for 1432/1433, which was chaired by his Excellency Rector of the University, Dr. Khalid Bin Sa’ad al-Muqrin on behalf of his excellency the minister of higher education who is the chair of the university council, has included in his agenda the approval concerning the scientific research seats which would give an opportunity to the university to adopt many scientific seats in so many theoretical and scientific fields, which, as a result, would have a greater impact on supporting the research field as well as providing businessmen a better chance to contribute to the development of knowledge and society issues. The scientific research seats program, which is approved by al-Majama’ah University, is considered as one of the scientific projects that intend to achieve excellency and pioneering in the field of research, development, and knowledge in our local society. Dr. Mohssen has considered the joint of al-Majma’ah University in the program of scientific research seats is a living testimony for the great concerns of our government to ensure that the kingdom will occupy a distinguished international positing in the fields of scientific research, especially those which deal with the matters of Saudi society as well as the comprehensive national developmental goals. Scientific seats will also give universities the chance to make use of the qualified academic cadres who have long experience in order to achieve mutual scientific and sociological benefits which, as a consequence, will help in the development of the country and its citizens in all aspects of life.
