His Highness Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammad al-Angari signed on Tuesday morning 6/4/1433 constructive contracts for a number of projects housing faculty members in campuses in a number of regions and states with a cost reached 1,105,154,131 billion riyal. These contracts include projects of accommodation construction for faculty members in Um alqura University (second phase), Imam Mohamd Ibn Sa’aud University (second phase), King AbudlAziz University (third phase), King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (second phase), Taiba University (second phase), Jazan University, Baha University (second phase), and Najran University. The supported constructive projects were conducted in the university college assembly in Zulfi. His Highness Dr. Khalid al-Angri clarified that all contracts signed today are expansion of the chain of projects to be achieved by the ministry in attempt to finish up the infrastructure of campuses spread in all over the kingdom. His Highness noted that faculty member housing projects were designed according to the high standards required to prepare the necessary academic environment that will impact positively on the performance of faculty members. His Highness also added that these projects are regarded as part of the academic components and social life of university campus which the ministry has executed most their projects such as hospitals, mosques, markets and playgrounds, noting that achieving such kind of places would contribute to the development of society. In conjunction with this occasion, His Highness Dr. Khalid al-Angri extended his thanks to the Custodian of Two Holly Mosques, King Abdullah bin AbdulAziz and His Highness Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for their caring and continues support for Higher Education Sector and its staffs which, in result, enables universities to perform their job in accordance with high standards of higher education. His Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid bin Sa’ad al-Mogren extended his thanks and appreciations to His Highness the minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammad al-Angari for his approval of supported work construction project in university college assembly in Zulfi considering this project as important step to complete the college assembly in Zulfi which includes colleges of Zulfi Province and provide services to more than 300 students which will be doubled in the upcoming years. The Rector described this project as a turning point as it incorporates facilities like labs, classrooms and offices as well as advanced preparations in the realm of higher education as an attempt to create optimal educational environment. In conjunction with this occasion, His Highness extended his thanks and appreciations to the Custodian of Two Holly Mosques, King Abdullah bin AbdulAziz and His Highness Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for their caring and continues support for Higher Education Sector in general and Majmaah university in particular.
