On behalf of His Highness Minister of Higher Education Professor Khalid bin Mohammad Al-Angari, Head of University Board, His Highness the Rector of Majmaah University Dr. Khalid bin Sa’ad Al-Mogren chaired the sixth meeting of university board 1432/1433 in conference hall of His Highness the Rector’s office in the presence of the General Secretary of Higher Education Board Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, university deputies and Deans of Colleges and Deanships. His Excellency vice rector for graduate studies and scientific research and Board Secretary, Dr. Mohsen Bin Abdelrahman Al-Mohsen mentioned that His Highness the Rector launched the meeting by welcoming all attendants then a number of issues were reviewed by the board, most importantly is having a complete view about Higher Education Programs which started the second semester of current year in two fields namely Arabic Language and Qura’an Science. The board also discussed the report of Scientific Research Deanship with regard to researches being supported in this year; it also discussed shifting publishing and Translation Department to be “Publishing and Translation Center” as a step to enhance the relationship with universities and higher education institutions. Moreover, the final account of the University for 1431/1432 was among the issues being discussed in the university board. Finally, administrative promotions for some university staffs were approved in addition to some administrative and academic decisions related to the university.
