LIBRARY WEEK PROGRAM

The Deanship of Library Affairs intends to launch a Library Week Program in the Central Library of the University during the period from 28/12/1436 to 2/1/1421 AH. Through such program, the Deanship aims at introducing new students to the library sections and the way to use automated research through the library catalog, offering reference and counseling service, helping students and faculty members and beneficiaries to access information, and introducing them to the services provided by the library such as book lending, photocopying and searching the library databases as well as explaining the use of and registration in the digital library. Furthermore, students will be taken on an introductory tour of the Library. The Dean of Library Affairs Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Omran called upon the faculty members and college staff to start organizing visits to the freshmen and the students of the Preparatory Year Program in order to benefit from the services provided by the deanship to their students and faculty members. A bag will also be given to each visitor including some brochures about the library.
