THE RECTOR EXTENDED HIS THANKS AND APPRECIATIONS TO THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TOW HOLLY MOSQUES FOR HIS APPROVAL OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF HUMANITIES AND ADMINISTRATIVE CENTER IN THE UNIVERSITY

 

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Chairman of the Board of Higher Education approved a number of decisions taken by the Council of Higher Education at its 70th meeting, Including the establishment of a private university, nine new colleges and the establishment of some institutes, Deans, centers and departments in a number of universities. The Higher Education Council will discuss a number of annual reports of some universities among which is the approval of the establishment of a center of Humanities and management at the University of Majmaah. His Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid Bin Sa'ad Al-Mogren extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the approval which comes as a part of a number of decisions that are an extension of what the Saudi universities receive of great concerns from the king through his directions to provide the needs of the universities as well as supporting Higher Education in the Kingdom to carry out its missions and achieve its objectives. His Highness the Rector also praised the support that Al-Majmaah University receive constantly that enable it to contribute to its progress and advancement. His Highness also noted the support from the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Angari and His Vice President to the University of Al-Majmaah that made it able to complete its administrative system, organizational structures and academic units during the first years of its establishment. He also pointed out that the approval of the establishment of a center for Humanities and administrative studies that will be in Al-Majmaah University is a great stimulation for further work to be achieved in the University. He clarifies that the University will take the initiative to establish this center directly on scientific basis with selecting qualified staff to manage it properly in order to achieve its goals. His Highness also encouraged the movements of academic research in significant areas and linking them with research projects in the center that will consequently meet the needs of the society and development plans.
