College of Medicine at the University conducted a reception ceremony for students of second batch who managed to pass the preparatory year successfully last year. This ceremony shows the concern of the college to qualify and prepare students to join the academic study and to have a better understanding of the curriculum and methods of education and training. The ceremony begun with an opening speech for the head of student affairs department Mr.Ahmed Alasilan in which he welcomed everyone and mentioned the purpose of his ceremony followed by a visual presentation for a documentary film on the College of Medicine. After that, an explanation was made by the Deputy Dean Dr. Khalid Alabdelwahab about the curriculum of the College as well as the teaching and training methods and the years of studying. Professor Mazen Alqato introduced the Department of Academic Advising and its committees followed by an introductory tour for students in the departments, labs and classrooms of the college. An open meeting was held with the Dean Dr. Mohamed Othman Al-Rukban and the Deputy Dean who is also the supervisor of Faculty Members Dr. Khaled Alabdelwahab who explained to students some of the most important guidance and instructions. A session was conducted to respond to students inquiries. The Ceremony was concluded by having lunch followed by distributing introductory bags at the College of Medicine.
