College of Business Administration at Majmaah University conducted its annual ceremony regarding the reception of new students in honor of the Dean Dr. Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Hamoud. The ceremony was initiated by a beautiful recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by a speech for the Dean where he congratulated students on new year and urged them to exploit their time in a cost-effective manner with useful knowledge and encouraged them to invest the opportunity of their admission to develop themselves in their areas of specialization to enable them to serve their religion and their homeland. He also clarified the importance of recognizing their rights and duties in the university as well as their CGBA. Moreover, He called on students to make use of the services provided by the Admission and Registration Deanship.
After that, a speech was delivered by the head of Academic Advising, Dr. / Najib bin Omar Owainat where explained the differences between public education and higher education as well as the students' rights and duties during their academic studies. Then, another speech was given by the Head of student activities unit Mr.Naqiyan Al-Saadouni in which he encouraged students to develop themselves through the participation in student activities due to its beneficial effect on them throughout their scientific journey.
The College also conducted a ceremony for freshmen students in Zulfi began with an opening speech by/ Mishaal Aldaham followed by a speech for the supervisor of Academic Advising Unit Dr. Najeeb bin Omar Owainat where he explained the differences between public education and higher education and the most prominent tips in achieving the desired academic goals followed by a speech for the head of student activities units in which he explained the most prominent features of student activity plans. After that, a speech was delivered by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs on behalf of the Dean Mr. Faris bin Saleh Fares where he highlighted the rights and duties of students and the importance for freshmen students to work hard from the beginning and concluded his speech by responding to the inquiries raised by students.
The ceremony was concluded with breakfast followed by introductory tour in the college and guiding students to classrooms.
