THE DEANSHIP OF COMMUNITY SERVICE AND ENGINEERING COLLEGE HOLD A MEETING ABOUT THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

 

As a part of the communication with the university’s colleges with regard to the discussion of mechanisms of running educational programs as well as establishing new ones, a delegation of the Deanship of Community Service and Continues Education chaired by the Dean Dr. Omer Al-Sharyofi, held a coordinate meeting with His Excellency the Dean of Engineering Dr. Mohammad Al-Salamah and heads of academic departments in the college. Dr. Omar Al-Sharyofi presented an illustrative report about the mechanisms of implementing the educational programs provided by the deanship in cooperation with academic colleges and departments. He clarified the role of colleges and deanships and the tasks of those in charge of implementing programs as well as the procedures of approving the programs and its mechanisms. He also stated the policies related to implementing some of the educational programs, particularly Tajseer program. The delegation presented to the dean of the college, Dr. Mohammad Al-Salamah a comprehensive vision of the procedural manual for implementing programs in addition to the report of education program quality about the second semester for the academic year 1432-1433 as well as some of the deanship publications. Among the most important recommendations of the meeting was appointing Dr. Iyhab Abdelaati, research assistant in engineering college as a coordinator with the deanship regarding the implementation of Tajseer Program in the mechanical engineering bachelor as well as in the electrical engineering. The dean of engineering college Dr. Mohammad Al-Salamah extended his thanks for this initiative which comes within the framework of constant communication between colleges and the deanship of community service and continues education to investigate the proposed educational programs by the colleges and their mechanisms of implementation.
