The university Astronomical Observatory Board held the 2nd meeting chaired by Vice-Rector, Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari in the presence of all members. A number of topics were discussed, most importantly a proposal to launch an astronomical observatory's chair and a Saudi scientific council for crescents' observation. The proposal was recommended with some modifications.
