The Deanship of Students Affairs held a meeting in the auditorium of the main campus titled “Intellectual Security” presented by Mr. Abdelaziz Al-Helayal from the General Directorate for Intellectual Security in the Interior Ministry. Mr. Alhelayl talked about the concept of intellectual security, importance and role in security stability. He also added that intellectual security is a set of procedures which lead to the safety of the society thoughts. He mentioned that extreme may cause danger to national and religious values and regarded internet as the main source of extreme. Finally, the Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Hamad Al-Gumaizi presented a memorial shield to Mr. Alhelayal. Dr. Al-Gumaizi stated that meeting is part of a set of programs and activities which aim at upgrading the Islamic and national values among the University students.
