The Students assembly at Lamar University in Texas, USA has organized an international festival titled “International Appreciation” in the campus. The Saudi culture was represented with a culturual and civilized corner to introduce the American society with the culture of the kingdom in all aspects of education through a number of PhD candidates: Abdel Aziz Al-Saeed and Ahmed Al-Zahrani from Majmaah University, Abdellah Al-Omari from Salman University, Ghaythan Al-Omari from Taibah University, Farraj Al-Qarni from AlJouf University and Abdellah Al-Zahrani from Aramco Company. More than five hundreds visitors, from various countries, participated in this event. The Saudi part started with a recitation of the holy Quran followed by an introductory film about the heritage of the kingdom, education, statics of education for male and female, tourism, industrial achievements and King Abdulla Industrial city. The head of students’ assembly Majed Al-Bukhari expressed his thanks to all participants in this festival which enhance the awareness of students to understand each other culture. The head of Saudi students’ assembly, Abdelaziz Al-Saeed expressed his thanks and appreciation to soccer team members for achieving the first position.
