MIDDLE EAST AWARD TO MAJMAAH UNIVERSITY MEMBER

Dr. Abdullah Al-Sweket- former professor of Arabic Literature at the College of Education in Zulfi at Majmaah University- has obtained the Middle East Education Leadership Award from the Asia Leadership Excellence- a strategic partner with CMO Asia, a leading industrial group in Asia - due to his outstanding contribution to education.

 

This prize is presented to individuals and institutions who pass several levels of excellence and exemplary leadership over the Five years and contributed to the building of the institution through professional leadership in both industry and academia.

 

The Award organizers mentioned that the selection process relied on the difference those winners made in the lives of others owing to their quality of work at both the national and international levels, the potential expectations as well as the ability of inducing a positive change to their respective societies.

 

The selection process focuses on tracking and reviewing the progress record and achievements of those leaders by Arbitration Commissions consisting of senior specialists from different parts of the world.

 

Dr. Sweket thanked the leaders of the country – King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, Prince Muhammad bin Nayef- the Crown-prince and Prince Muhammad bin Salman- the Deputy-crown prince for their sponsorship and support of education throughout the kingdom in general and Majmaah University in particular.

 

“This interest in education and prosperity of this country should be appreciated”, Dr. Sweket said.

 

Dr. Sweket has also expressed appreciation to the University Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqrin for his model leadership and ongoing support of the University personnel, which has led the University to higher and leading positions worldwide.
