Dr. Hamad Al-Qamizi –Dean of the Student Affairs Deanship- said that the Ministry of Education had approved the annual plan of the programs and activities of the Deanship at Majmaah University.
“The approval is the result of hard work of the deanship personnel acting on instructions from the University Rector,” he added.
The preparation of the program and courses intended for the current academic year went through some stages under the follow up of both the rector and the vice-rector for Academic Affairs.
Dr. Qamizi noted, “The Deanship plan of this year is comprehensive of the programs matching the 2030’s vision of the Kingdom.”
“It covers all student activities focusing on their needs such as strengthening the positive values and correcting the religious notions that contradict Islam as well as the policy of the Kingdom,” Dr. Qamizi continued.
He also pointed out the plan had included activities and programs throughout all colleges at the University under supervision from distinguished faculty members and qualified supervisors.
The Deanship has distributed the plan to all Student Affairs Units in the colleges in order to achieve more communication with the University students. The Student Affairs Units raise their awareness of such courses and encourage them to take part in them.
Dr. Qamizi called on all students at the University to take advantage of those courses and activities by registering for them so as to develop their skills and improve their performance. Further, he urged students to communicate with the Student Affairs/Activity Units in their respective colleges for registration and queries about dates and places of the courses.
