In compliance with the Rector’s directive to create an educational setting conducive for learning for students, particularly in electronic exams, the Deanship of E-learning and Distance Education has completed in cooperation with the Vice-Rector Office for Educational Affairs a number of organizational operations related to e-exams. The Vice-Rector and Supervisor of E-learning Deanship, Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari stated that questions bank for all e-curriculums are ready which will be in the form of multiple-choice. The deanship has also cooperated with the Deanship of IT to ensure all the labs are ready to operate during the exams, added Dr. Al-Dosari. The colleges which have high density of students were provided with tablets to facilitate the procedures of exams. The duration of exam is 45 minutes where students can undertake the exam three times – 15 minutes for every time-. The highest score attained is chosen automatically. The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Mudabri said that all exam-related instructions were provided to colleges and students via learning management system. A committee was also formed to follow the flow of e-exams.
