His Excellency, the Rector of the university, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin, inaugurated the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Learning Pavilion in the Third International Conference Exhibition of E-Learning and Distance Learning, on Monday 23/03/1434, under the motto (Practice and Desired Performance), which aims to:
1. View the latest studies and scientific research in the field of E-Learning and its relation with performance.
2. Promote E-Learning, which stimulates participation and distinctive performance.
3. Review the educational theories that help to transfer E-Learning to practical stage.
4. Highlight the importance of cultural and ethical frameworks for E-Learning applications and practices.
5. Awareness of the role of E-Learning environments to stimulate participation and outstanding performance.
6. Monitoring the successful E-Learning experiences which aim to improve learning and its quality assurance.
A lot of speakers from various countries around the world, participate in this Exhibition under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz. This Exhibition is held on 23/03 until 26/03/1434 in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Riyadh. His Excellency, the Rector, Dr. Khalid bin Saad al-Muqrin, chairs the eleventh session of the scientific program of the conference, while His Excellency, Dean of E-Learning and Distance Learning, Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed al Dawsari, chairs the thirty-first session of the same program . What should be noted is the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Learning, participates in this Exhibition through a pavilion featuring the most prominent projects of the deanship that have been accomplished during the last period, and what comes first is the E-Learning project , the training project on e-learning system, and project of committees and councils system. The Deanship also participates, represented by Mr. Faisal bin Hakem Al Shaneri,; Head of Training Unit, in training workshops via presenting training workshops under the title of ( Android - Apple IOS6 – Windowsphone) . A kind of coordination has been set for the employees of the university (of both sexes), who are in charge of E-Learning fields to participate in the conference sessions and training workshops on the purpose of achieving the Deanship's goal in developing the skills of faculty members in this area. Deanship has made invitation for the employees of the university to visit the Deanship pavilion, and benefit from the scientific issues that raised in this Conference.
