MU VICE-RECTOR AWARDS TRAINING CERTIFICATES TO TRAINING PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS

Majmaah University Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Aromaih, sponsored the closing celebration of the training program concerned with measuring learning outcomes at the University. The program was organized in collaboration with the Education Commission for Evaluation.

 

Given separately to male students by Dr. Muhammad al-Madani- an adviser at the Education Commission for Evaluation and to female students by Dr. Hanan Olyan-an adviser at the Commission, the training program was held over two days in the Training Rooms at the Quality and Skills Development Deanship on campus and in the Female students’ building through live broadcast.

 

Targeting quality officials and faculty members at the University colleges, the program addressed significant academic aspects aiming at raising awareness of quality at higher education institutions and supporting its proper application to reach the desired learning outcomes.

 

Moreover, the program focused on the evaluation stages of planning, implementation, measurement and analysis, in addition to the development and drafting of the final report, ensuring the continuity of assessment in accordance with specific timetables based on the mission and goals of the institution. Some models of learning outcomes at the University were also discussed.

 

At the end of the program, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Aromaih, thanked all participants in the program, then he expressed the University determination to achieve the desired quality standards and continue the development of its learning outcomes in line with its vision and mission.

 

Afterwards, Dr. Romaih awarded certificates of attendance to the 75 participants.

 

The university was keen to offer the training program with a training portfolio and make it available to all of its faculty members through the e-learning website, D2L, so as they can all benefit from it.

 

 Dr. Rumaih stressed that the University gives great importance to raising the efficiency of its personnel, and that such programs are part of the preparation for academic institutional accreditation.

 

The Dean of Quality and Development, Dr. Mohammed Al-Aboudie, expressed his appreciation to both the University Rector and Vice-Rector for their full support of all developmental activities on campus aimed to achieve the strategic mission and goals of the University.
