INVENTIONS OF ENGINEERING COLLEGE WON AT SHEIKH IBRAHIM AL-SULTAN’S SCIENTIFIC INNOVATION PRIZE

A new achievement was made by students at Engineering College in the prize of Sheikh Ibraheem bin Abdelmohsen Al-Sultan for scientific innovation.

 The invention proposed by the students Ahmed Al-Ohaideb and Bader Abanmi have won multiple prizes and was registered at King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology. The invention which is expected to obtain a patent serves oil, water and gas. Another invention made by two students; Mr. Jehad Al-Nahid and Mr. Thamer Al-Arfaj which aims to utilize the Renewable Energy to facilitate Hajj performance on Jamarat bridge.  The invention which also is expected to gain a patent was under the supervision of the Dean Dr. Abdullah Al-Abdelkareem and Dr. Tariq Al-Bajouri. The invention is registered at King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology and will help in reducing the stampede and death toll that occurs during hajj.
