Commenting on the royal orders issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, most notably the appointment of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz as Crown Prince, the Rector of the University, Dr. Khaled Al-Muqrin, on his own behalf and on behalf of all the University staff members extended his sincere congratulations to His Highness the Crown Prince for the trust received from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. “We renew the pledge of allegiance to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud and His Highness the Crown Prince for obedience in richness and poverty,” the Rector declared. The Rector said that His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz is a treasure to the country, and that his appointment reflects his loyalty to his country. Furthermore, he stressed that these royal orders represent another leap made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on the way to establish a new stage of development and prosperity that includes all sectors without exception, while pushing to continue the process of construction and renaissance, thus ensuring the continuation of development while preserving the developmental gains. Dr. Muqrin went on, “the royal orders were characterized by wisdom, insight and a clear message that development is an ongoing process adopted by the wise leadership, which represents conclusive evidence of the Kingdom's ideal political stability, economic prosperity, safety and security.” The Rector pointed out that the transfer of missions in this smooth and quiet manner and the change of positions in this way without conflicts or complications in an atmosphere of friendliness as shown by the media reflect the strength of solidarity and agreement among members of the royal family. “The transfer of power in this manner reflects our adherence to our Islamic principles and national values, which bring about political stability and security throughout this nation,” Dr. Muqrin said. The Rector concluded by praying for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for good health and wellness. He also wished the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman the best in his great responsibility and preserve our security, safety and development.
