UNIVERSITY VIRTUAL COMMUNITY PROJECT PROVIDES ACADEMIC SERVICES FOR STUDENTS AND VISITORS TO THE VIRTUAL WORLD

The University has adopted the project of virtual society on campus out of its conviction of the impact of virtual environments on educational systems, which turned into places of knowledge growth, analysis and linking that knowledge to the various applications represented in the virtual learning spaces led by the Second Life, which is no longer exclusive to typical users. Nor is it just a technique or curiosity satisfaction of social network addicts. This idea has spread throughout a number of international universities in the United States, Britain and elsewhere. Furthermore, it has been applied at Dubai Women's College. The University has contributed to supporting the Second Life project and exploring the possibility of using it to provide academic services to university students and visitors in the virtual world.
