Majmaah University represented the other Saudi universities in the 2nd international champion for debate in Arabic Language, held in Qatar from the time 21 to 24/april/2013. The university was represented by Dr. Fahad Saleh Al-Mulhem, head of Arabic Department at college of education in Zulfi, Mr. Suleiman Al-Qashami, lecturer at Islamic Studies at college of education in Zulfi and Mr. Ibraheem Ahmed Al-Yousif from student affairs deanship as a coordinator. The students who participated in the debate were: Ibraheem Al-Eydan, Khalid Mohammad Al-Huseini, Abdelkareem Al-Nasser (Medical College in Majmah) and Mohmmad Bin Sa’ad Al-Munify from Science College in Zulfi.
The university gained a good experience in the art of debate. Forty-four universities from 22 countries. The students spent around 2 months reading and researching in various fields as a preparation for the this debate.
