Sponsored by His Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren and honored by the governor of Ghat Mr. Abdullah Al-Nasser Al-Sudeiri, Majmaah University held a ceremony for laying the foundation stone of urgent buildings of science and humanities studies college with the attendance of the university deputies, deans and a number of faculty members.
The ceremony began by a recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a documentary film about the college of science and humanities in Ghat, its departments and number of students who exceeded one thousands students including male and female.
Addressing the audience, the dean of science and humanities college Dr. Khalid Al-Shafy delivered a speech where he welcomed the governor and audience and noted that the Rector is concerned about having these buildings finished as soon as possible.
After that, the foundation stone was laid by His Highness the Rector followed by a short film about the buildings projects and its components.
The governor addressed the audience in a speech where he welcomed the Rector and all audience. He then expressed his gratitude for the project which will open up a vast number of opportunities for students to pursue their education.
Eventually, His Highness the Rector delivered a speech who made a reference to the achievements and extended his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his fully support to the higher education sector.
