The College of Sciences and Humanities of Ghat held a seminar entitled "Knowing about the Institute of Entrepreneurship" in the Rahmania Cultural Center in elGhat. The seminar was opened by the director of the National Institute of Entrepreneurship of Zulfa Pr. Fahd bin Mohammed Alhuishan. It included introducing the Institute 'Riada' which is a national independent non-profit institute. The institute was founded by an initiative of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources as well as the General Organization for Technical and Professional Training, and it was named the National Institute of Entrepreneurship. Many companies participated in the foundation of the institute including the Campany of Basic Industries 'Sabec', Saudi Aramco Campany, Saudi Telecom Campany, Bank of Development, Saudi Bank for Credit and Savings, and the General Corporation for Technical Training. Professor Fahd Alhuishan illustrated the most important services provided by the institute such as: promoting the ideas of male and female students, encouraging them to personal work, spreading the culture of self employment, developing the entrepreneurial spirit among them, encouraging them to engage in business sector, training, consultancy and guidance, and facilitating access to funding and licenses. The director of the institute also dealt with the lending conditions and the most important achievements of 'Riada' such as the presence of many successful projects for young Saudis, supported by it and located in the province of Zulfa and its villages. At the end of the meeting there was room for questions. The director of the Institute of 'Riada' thanked the College for having the opportunity to define the institute and its objectives. He also thanked the male and female students for their presence and interaction, and gave them some gifts including some brochures which provided a brief explanation of the services of 'Riada' and the means of communicating the institute from various parts of the kingdom. After that, his Exellency Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah Alchafi thanked Pr. Fahd Alhuishan for organizing this purposeful seminar and gave him a trophy on this occasion.
