The Research Project Management Program (RPMP) was launched by MU rector, Dr. Al-Mugren, which marks the opening of application for the 7th round of research fund projects for the academic year 1438/1439.
Dr. Thamer Al-Harbi, dean of Scientific Research, provided an exhaustive explanation about the objectives of the program which aims at creating a database of scientific research, researchers, research centers and reviewers, scholars assigned for peer-review. It also attempts to regulate the procedures of communication among departments, archives all respected correspondences, enforce the principle of transparency in all procedures of research fund and provide reports and statistics about the research projects.
The system, which operates in many languages including Arabic and English, works also on smartphone and Active Directory, added Dr. Al-Harbi
Explaining the procedures of applying for the fund, Dr. Al-Harbi said ‘’ the system includes several procedures which starts with opening a new application followed by reviewing the projects and finally endorsing the fund”.
