Irtiqaa brings Together Coordinators for a Workshop on Development and Integration

A workshop was organized by the Office of Initiatives and Vision Realization for coordinators of the Irtiqaa Platform across various university departments.

The workshop was kicked off by Dr. Faisal Al-Shammari, Supervisor of the Irtiqaa Platform, who gave an overview of the platform and highlighted the key role in supporting professional development across the university by offering training opportunities for staff. Dr. Al-Shammari emphasized that Irtiqaa is a core initiative under the university’s training and professional development governance framework to enhance employees’ skills, support community engagement, and link performance evaluation to participation in training programs and workshops.

The workshop focused on the importance of proactive communication between platform coordinators and their respective colleges, deanships, and departments, particularly in requesting the training plans for each academic semester. It also addressed the need for direct collaboration with irtiqaa supervisors to resolve technical or administrative issues, reviewed common user errors on the platform, and stressed the importance of raising awareness about the official usage guidelines provided to users.
