The Plans and Curricula Committee is improving the academic programs in all departments to keep abreast of recent developments in the fields of science and technology, and to provide exceptional educational programs that meet the needs of the labor market.
The idea of setting up many programs that meet the needs of students and the labor market during the year 1444 AH was discussed. These program are:
Renewable Energy and Environment Physics Program in the Department of Physics
Industrial Chemistry Program in the Department of Chemistry, College of Science
Applied Statistics and Data Management Program in the Mathematics Department of the College of Science
Computer Science program in the Department of Computer Science, College of Computer and Information Sciences
Information Technology Program in the Information Technology Department of the College of Computer and Information Sciences
Environmental Protection Technology Program in the Department of Biology, College of Science
