The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center concludes its initiative to support participants in the Health Innovation Hackathon.

The Entrepreneurship Center and the Deanship of Student Affairs, has successfully concluded its active participation in the 5th Health Innovation Hackathon. The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, and hosted by King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. 

Over 55 universities and health colleges participated in the event which aims to develop the healthcare sector and enhance the efficiency and quality of medical services.

The event provided an opportunity for students to present innovative projects that contribute to building an advanced healthcare future. The university participated with an outstanding student team that presented several pioneering projects, including:

  • AI-based healthcare solutions.

  • A medical respiratory device for mobile ambulance centers.

  • Innovative sterilization devices for dairy factories and shopping carts.

This undoubtedly reflects the university students' capabilities in innovation and technology. The students also participated in accompanying workshops delivered by experts and specialists in health, technology, and entrepreneurship.
