The Social Responsibility Observatory organizes a workshop titled: "The Family and Empowering Effective Nutritional Practices: A Guide to Fighting Childhood Obesity"

The Social Responsibility Observatory, represented by the Family and Childhood Center, organized, in collaboration with the College of Dentistry, a workshop titled: "The Family and Empowering Effective Nutritional Practices: A Guide to Fighting Childhood Obesity." The workshop was presented by the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Prof. Nasser Al-Darawi.

The workshop addressed several key topics, including childhood obesity, the evolution of definitions of obesity, the main causes of childhood obesity, global and local statistics on childhood obesity rates, as well as the role of the family in combating this epidemic, prevention, treatment, and the social responsibility of universities in raising awareness and promoting healthy education.

This workshop is part of a series of workshops organized by the Social Responsibility Observatory to support the community.
