In a strategic move to strengthen ties between academia and the business sector, the College of Business Administration at MU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chamber of Commerce in Majmaah. The agreement aims to support scientific research and develop applied studies that serve the national economy and enhance the competitiveness of the labor market.
The signing took place at the Chamber's headquarters, in the presence of Dr. Naqiyan Al-Saadouni, Dean of the College; Mr. Faris Al-Abdulkarim, Board Member of the Chamber; and Mr. Fahad Al-Sayaari, Secretary-General of the Chamber of Commerce.
The agreement focuses on collaboration in joint research, organizing academic events, and supporting research projects that address regional economic and administrative challenges. It also aims to provide students with training opportunities within real business environments.
Dr. Al-Saadouni pointed out that the agreement marks a strategic step toward aligning academic outcomes with market needs. He highlighted the importance of partnering with the private sector to strengthen the research ecosystem and ensure its impact on society. This partnership will enhance the integration between educational institutions and the economic sector, in line with Saudi Vision 2030's goals for innovation and national talent development.
