The College of Nursing conducts an Awareness Program Titled “Release Your Stress”

The Student Club at the College of Nursing organized an awareness program titled “Release Your Stress,” for faculty members and students. The program aimed to raise their awareness about the concept of stress, its impact on physical and mental health, and to introduce students to scientific and practical methods for managing it.

The program featured two main sections:

  • The Scientific Corner: This section explained the concept of stress from a scientific and nursing perspective, including how the body responds to stress and the roles of cortisol and adrenaline. The content was supported by reputable sources such as Harvard Health and the American Psychological Association (APA).

  • The Interactive Corner: Participants engaged in practical stress-management activities, including deep-breathing exercises, reflective writing, and activities designed to promote calmness and emotional balance.

The event contributed to strengthening students’ awareness of the importance of mental health in the lives of nursing students and healthcare practitioners, connecting scientific knowledge with everyday practice within the university environment.
