THE UNIT OF REPORTS AND PLANS AT THE UNIVERSITY CONDUCTS A WORKSHOP FOR PREPARING THE SECOND STRATEGIC PLAN

Within the activities of preparing the second strategic plan (1437- 1440 AH) that the university is working on during the coming period, and under the auspices of the Rector of the University, the Unit of Reports and Plans conducted its first workshop entitled (Diagnosing the Current Situation of Majmaah University). The workshop took place at the General Directorate for Planning and Administrative Development Hall, where His Excellency Dr. Sa'ad Bin Zaar Al Qahtani, leader of the University current situation Diagnosis Team, explained the tasks and roles of the Higher Committee and its subcommittees for preparing plans. Next, the team’s rapporteur, Dr. Adnan Kotait, explained the Strategic Environmental Systematization Analysis (SWOT Analysis), which is used to diagnose and analyze the internal and external environmental variables of the university. Moreover, the attendees reviewed the most prominent achievements of the university, aspects of excellence, and potential opportunities and future challenges. Prof. Tariq Ismail also presented the state of the scientific research; Dr. Almetwali Badr the prominent achievements of the Deanship of Quality; and Dr. Mohammad Alnemir the state of performance of the Deanship of Community Service. At the end of the workshop, the team leader, His Excellency Dr. Al Qahtani, expressed his sincere appreciation to the leadership of the university, and to all team members for their outstanding efforts and continuous support for the advancement of the university.
