Upon directives of His Excellency the University Vice Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Bin Ali Al Romaih, His Excellency the General Director of the General Department for Planning & Administrative Development, Dr. Sa'ad Bin Zaar Al Qahtani, accompanied by the Head of the Department of Plans and Reports at the General Department, Mr. Nasser Bin Abdulaziz Al Ogayil, attended the Eighth Coordination meeting of the Afaq Plan project 1436 AH, which took place in Riyadh. The ceremony was inaugurated by His Excellency the Vice Minister for Educational Affairs at the Ministry of Education in the presence of a large number of deputy rectors of universities in the Kingdom. After greeting and welcoming everyone, His Excellency the Vice Minister highlighted the importance of the project for the future of higher education in the Kingdom, then reviewed the most important performance indicators. Prior to the conclusion of this meeting two workshops were conducted on the most prominent challenges facing the plan following the process of merging public education with higher education, in addition to the suggestions and obstacles facing executives of the plan in universities.
