MU GRANTED EUROPEAN PATENT ON OPTICAL READER INVENTION

MU was granted an international patent by the Intellectual Property Office on an invention for recognizing the eye gestures called Optical reader.
The head of the invention team, Dr. Raed Al-Baraadi, highlighted the importance of the invention which is useful for stroke patients in browsing websites easily. The patent, according to Dr. Al-Baraadi, is an indication of the university’s leadership locally and internationally.
The invention team members comprise Dr. Abdelrahman Al-Rabayaan, Dr. Khalid Al-Ghatani, Dr. Ahmed Nada and Dr. Fadeel Ansari.
