SECOND EDITION OF ENRICHMENT PROGRAM BY DEANSHIP OF STUDENT AFFAIRS CONCLUDED

Under the patronage of the vice-rector for educational affairs, Prof. Mohammed Al-Obudi, the second edition of the Enrichment Program held virtually by the Deanship of Student Affairs as part of the cultural, social and sports activities during the summer was concluded. The program aims at helping students to utilize their leisure time by honing their skills.

The program featured three themes: (contests – courses – talks), and each of these themes comprises different activities.

Training courses: 150 students attended the courses which aim to develop their skills. Five training courses were held as follow:

  • Personal planning and priorities management – presented by Mr. Tawfiq Al-Medeiheem
  • Basic leadership skills – presented by Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan
  • Self-learning – presented by Ms. Salma Al-Osaimi
  • Healthy living principles – presented by Dr. Ghassan Matbuli
  • Outstanding personality engineering – presented by Ahmed al-Osailan

Talks: They focus on raising public awareness and knowledge about all walks of life. Some of these talks include:

  • Between paper vs digital reading – presented by Dr. Aqil Al-Aqil
  • Money and business – presented by Dr. Thamer Al-Khalidi
  • Towards technological society – presented by Dr. Sultan Al-Mutairi

Contests: They aim to create a sense of competition among students in different fields such as integrity and intellectual awareness.

The program was held under the supervision of the dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan, and in cooperation with the deanship staff.
