Majmaah University, represented by the University Vice-Rector's Office for Educational Affairs, wrapped up the forum of Excellence in Teaching and Learning which was held under the auspices of MU rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mizil.

The sessions of the forum were launched by a welcoming speech for the vice-rector for educational affairs, Prof. Muhammad Al-Aboudi, who pointed out that the educational movement witnessed by the university is part of the developmental movement of the Ministry of Education in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

The forum aims to enhance educational productivity efficiency, with a focus on teaching methods, learning outcomes, and educational outcomes. It also reviews the most important valuable experiences and experimental models of teaching methods and related strategies.

The forum was moderated by Dr. Alulu Al-Amer, and featured ten sessions as follows: 

The first session included a working paper entitled "The Experience of the College of Medicine in Teaching and Learning", which was presented by Dr. Raed Al-Zahrani, and addressed the characteristics of graduates of the College of Medicine, and the experience of the medicine program at the university, highlighting the strategies to create conducive conditions for learning.

The second session is entitled “Methods of Teaching in the College of Dentistry” which was presented by Dr. Khalid Al-Hamid, and addressed teaching and evaluation methods along with counseling methods. 

In the third session, Dr. Omar Sumaida discussed conducting tests and measurement of educational outcomes by using the Blackboard and activating the (Goals) tool which has been applied in the Biomedical Engineering Department in the College of Applied Medical Sciences.

The fourth session included a working paper entitled "The Impact of Modern Teaching Strategies on Engineering Education... Practices and Experiences" which was presented by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Saadouni, and focused on the experience of the College of Engineering regarding teaching strategies, project-based education, training, and professional certificates and self-education.

In the fifth session, Dr. Awad Al-Mutairi reviewed the experience of the College of Business Administration in employing the Future X platform, indicating the procedures, roles and challenges, and achievements. Models of teaching employed by the Department of Business Administration were also reviewed.

In the sixth session, Dr. Muhammad Baljoun presented the experience of the College of Computer Science and Information in professional certificates, reviewing related statistics, data, and graphics.

 Dr. Fayez  Al-Fayez discussed in detail the unique practices in teaching methods, student counseling, and the methods of evaluating the various educational outcomes.

In the eighth session, Dr. Muhammad  Al-Obeid highlighted the experience of the Common First Year and the most important modern teaching strategies.

Dr. Nawal Al-Misnad discussed the application of reflective experiences in field practices in the College of Education. 

In the tenth session, Dr. Lulu Al-Ateeq presented a working paper entitled "Teaching Methods for People with Large Numbers in Electronic Courses,", highlighting the experience of the College of Education in Zulfi.

The last session was presented by Dr. Al-Mutwali Badeer, who reviewed the recommendations of the forum.

A number of qualitative recommendations were made that are expected to enhance the principle of partnership and integration among the colleges.
